Embassy of India School (KV) Moscow is a vibrant educational institution in Moscow catering to the educational needs of the wards of the Embassy of India personnel and community of Indian origin. 

The Ambassador of India to the Russian Federation, His Excellency Mr. Ajai  Malhotra is the Patron of the School. The Deputy Chief of Mission, Mr. Sandeep Arya is the Chairman of the School Management Committee. 

The main objective of the School is to impart quality education of an international standard, together with developing the holistic personality of the child, to face the challenging needs of the ever changing society. 

Established in the year 1987, today the school has a strength of a little over 350 students with classes I to XII and has Science and Commerce streams. The school is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (C.B.S.E), New Delhi and follows the curriculum framed by NCERT, New Delhi, India.

EOI School was honoured by the visit of Mrs Ira Malhotra, President, IWA on 26th February 2013. She was in the school to give away the prizes for the winners in the inter-house Sports &Games activities conducted in the Academic Year 2012-2013. Mrs Deepika N Karnani, Principal, welcomed the Guest and a short cultural programme was presented in her honour. The certificates, medals and trophies for various winners including the teachers and the Principal (in IBA Sports Meet & Diplomatic Summer Olympics) were given away by Mrs Ira Malhotra.

EOI School participated in the Annual Festival of Foreign Languages organized by the Department of Foreign Languages of the State Educational Institution Lyceum No. 1525 at Moscow City Palace for children and Youths Creativity on 18th February 2013. Master C R Ramanuja Desikan, class X and Master Sumanyu Arya, Class VII did a power point presentation on Indian classical dances which was followed by a Bharatnatyam performance by Kum.Lekshmi Reghunath of class VIII. Mr Rajendran K, PGT English, enthralled the audience with his Chenda recital. Mrs Deepika N Karnani, Principal, EOI School, Moscow was the Chief Guest on the occasion.

A number of students had participated in the International Fairytale writing competition organized under the aegis of UNESCO Moscow chapter. 6 students of the school won Finalist certificate and 4 of them won the prizes, including Kum. Rozanne Kurien who won the First prize. The winners were awarded certificates on 30th March 2013 in a colourful function at Museyon Centre of Aesthetic Education, Moscow.

On 11th April 13, a team of students of the school presented Group song and Chicken dance at Moscow House of Nationalities as part of the Chicken dance concert in honour of the great Russian lyricist Mr Yuri Entina. Children from a number of countries including Indonesia, Iraq, Sweeden, Ukrain and Belarus apart from Russia participated in the event. The group presented by the students (Itihas Agar Likhna Chaho) won the maximum appreciation with the audience clapping while the students were singing.
